When Emily is looking for a phone to use to call Vincent, it's as if she is under some sort of spell....really compelled to call him. I'm wondering what caused that. Good thing she bumped into Carla.
Anna is an interesting character. She has 'attitude' and the drawing of her helps me see her in her "gypsy" clothes. I'll be interested in reading more about her and Emily's school.

Ah, Rane. I fell behind on reading this, but caught up today. Holy cow, girly! I want more so bad. You really know how to pique interest, don't you? I'm so curious to see where this is going and to know when Emily is really going to see Giovanni again.

I really like Anna's voice. She has strong characterization through the way she speaks. I hope she sticks around for a while (and leads us back to Giovanni).

Well, she sees Giovanni again in the chapter 8 (which I JUST posted) so..........hehe.....have fun with that. Sometimes I wish I could read my book for the first time. I bet all writers wish that, though :)
