A short interview with Rane

What stories do your family always tell about you?
When I was a little girl I used to "collect" my parent's belongings (lipstick, wallets, watches, etc.) and hide them under my bed. (A thief in the making?) I also supposedly didn't cry as a baby, I meowed. As a little kid, whenever I'd meet anyone new, I'd introduce myself by saying, "I'm Rane. R-A-N-E." It apparently frustrated me that everyone thought my name was spelled R-A-I-N.

What would you name the autobiography of your life?
"The Little Engine That Could"

What is your favorite form of exercise?
Hiking. Anytime. Any place.

What sound do you love?
I think a lot of people will agree with me on this one. The sound of the rain falling on the rooftop has to be one of the most comforting sounds in the world. It makes me feel safe.

Where have you traveled around the world?
Australia, Italy, France, Switzerland, Tahiti, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, and of course, the USA.

If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?
Benjamin Franklin. I recently did a ton of research on this guy, and let me tell you, he was one remarkable man! Whenever I think of him, it inspires me to keep working on my goals. One reason he accomplished so much is because his thoughts were always consumed with ideas of progress. I think I’m in love with his brain. I think I want to be him...uh...an alive version of him.
